Carenet, a strong presence in the engagement and telehealth space, is working with the country's premier health plans, pharmacy benefit managers and providers.

FREMONT, CA: Carenet Health, one of the specialists in healthcare engagement, takes over the engagement and telehealth solution subsidiary of Citra Health Solutions. It is the second acquisition by Carenet in seven months. It is also known for a strong presence in the engagement and telehealth space dedicated to facilitate the Carenet acquisition and Integration.

Carenet is working with the country's premier health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and providers. The transaction has extended and strengthened the company’s strongholds in the health system market, and the latest takeover is in line with the firm's commitment toward high-quality, on-demand, cost-effective solutions on a bigger scale. Supporting more than 65 million consumer lives, Carenet provides the only integrated Virtual Clinic in the industry that combines physician's e-consults with 24/7 nurse advice enabling a seamless, cost-effective experience.

John Erwin, CEO of Carenet, seemed excited over the momentum of Carenet in the telehealth market. He said that with a rise in the cost of ER and others, they are increasingly collaborating with other industry players who believe that telehealth will emerge as the most relevant care options and will be a crucial part of 2020 strategies. He also focused on Carenet's commitment to teamwork and was looking ahead to serve their new clients and the consumers to provide them with an excellent onboarding experience and the same for Carenet's new team members as well.

Mick Mazour, President of Carenet Health, said that the healthcare consumer experience is still maturing with crucial implications for telehealth. He went on saying that in an on-demand world, growth in demand of improved healthcare experience is equivalent to an increased in demand for viable care choices, irrespective of whether it's from a player's or a provider's viewpoint.

Scott Sanner, the Chief Executive Officer of Citra Health Solutions, is anticipating a smooth transition. He also expressed that while moving to Carenet Health, the clients and employees are transitioning to a stable healthcare-focused organization, with a country-wide reach.
