FREMONT, CA: With flu season coming closer and COVID-19 numbers rising, Premier Truck Rental is focusing on mitigating risk for customers. Keeping customers and employees top-of-mind, PTR has initiated cleaning procedures for their truck rentals.

Due to the increased concern surrounding the coronavirus, PTR has been very conscientious regarding the virus, informing customers on best practices to stop the spread. A few important ways to decrease the chances of COVID-19 are:

• Daily disinfect equipment and rentals before, during as well as after each workday.

Frequent sanitization of equipment is vital because of workers sharing tools and trucks. Wipe down steering wheels, seats, handles and other commonly touched surfaces, like gear shifts and stereos.

• Always keep cleaning supplies and PPE.

Having disinfectant close to clean surfaces and keeping hand sanitizer, face masks, gloves, and face shields is important to keep staff healthy when working in close proximity.

• Adhere to the CDC guidelines.

As per the Center for Disease Control, social distancing guidelines suggest remaining six feet apart. PTR suggests restricting the number of crew members in each truck. If there is more than one worker in a truck, PTR recommends wearing masks while in transit.

In order to help mitigate the risk of customers contracting the coronavirus, PTR's detailing department has increased cleaning procedures inside of the trucks and also include hand sanitizer for customers to use when working.
